Social Networking for Modern Developers
Topic: Social Networking for Modern Developers
Do you Tweet at work? How up to date is your Blog? When you hear the term ‘Cloud’, do you think of more than just a rainy day? Social networking, when used properly, has always been a valuable tool for any professional these days. However, the more connected we get, the more important these social networks become. I intend to discuss the pros and cons of social networking, highlighting various sites, tools, and activities on the web that every developer should be familiar with. I’ll talk about your blogs, why you should have them, and what you should or shouldn’t put on them. Time permitting, I might even be able to justify the existence of Twitter! By the end of the discussion, everyone should have a better idea of ways to use the cloud both personally and professionally.
